Your physical body is the vehicle which you travel through life in, and just like a car needs an MOT to keep things running smoothly, the physical body also needs tender love and care.
Mastering Your Body includes the various exercise classes that Emma teaches to release, lengthen, strength, and realign the physical body. When the body is supple, free from pain, restrictions, and injuries, the mental and emotional states are lighter and you are able to better focus on your path and purpose.
Classes include:
Traditional Pilates - This class is a traditional mat based Pilates class that focuses on balance, postural realignment, strength, and flexibility
Remedial Pilates - This class is gentler that traditional Pilates with greater emphasis on remedial and restorative aspects, working to release the muscles and any adhesions in your connective tissue (myofascia) allowing muscles to lengthen naturally with ease not force. This class is great for anyone with musculoskeletal and spinal issues, limited mobility etc.
Both classes are 60minutes and are usually sold in 7-week blocks, with each class costing £7.50. Spaces are strictly limited to 12 and before you purchase, please contact me to check dates and availability for the next block of classes. You will also be sent a Health Questionnaire which must be completed before you start the class. No previous experience is necessary and all you need to bring is an exercise mat, all other equipment will be provided.
