Yesterday Pluto moved into Aquarius and this is a big deal because Pluto is a generational planet that takes 248 years to orbit the sun and so spends between 12-20 years in one sign. So the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was between 1778 – 1798.
Pluto is all about death, rebirth and transformation, so since 2008 when Pluto moved into Capricorn, we have been seeing a dismantling of hierarchical systems. Pluto is also our primordial power, so reveals a ‘shadow’ to whatever it touches. Hence we have been seeing the financial systems crash, large institutions and corporations being exposed for any abuse of power or any dark and dodgy dealings they have been involved with.
So with Pluto’s move into Aquarius… we are going to see a transformation of our consciousness as we step into the future! Aquarian energy is revolutionary, originality, eccentricity, community-orientated, and humanitarian. So over the next 20 years when Pluto travels through Aquarius, we will eventually see a transfer of power from a ‘top-down’ hierarchy to new ‘bottom-up’ systems. In other words, the power will return to us ‘the people’… the masses and the majority of the population not the rich, wealthy, and powerful few. Since Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, it also represents technology and futuristic ideas… so we are going to see a huge quantum leap with all things AI (artificial intelligence), space travel, and perhaps new and pioneering medical treatments. However, remember that Pluto will also expose the Aquarius shadow… the dark side of the internet and social media, the taboo associations with being a more AI society.
Pluto now at 0 degrees of Aquarius, is also the point of the great mutation which took place on the 21st of December 2020, when transiting Saturn and transit Jupiter aligned in the sky to look like one large star! Their meeting in Aquarius started a whole new 200-year air era, leaving the earth era behind. Aquarius is an air sign, not a water element as many people think. So we can safely say that with Pluto's move into Aquarius too, we have left the great Piscean age and entered the age of Aquarius.
However, as I’ve written about previously, Pluto will only be in Aquarius for the next three and a half months until 11th June 2023 due to Pluto’s retrograde. So we are getting a taste of this new energy and any baby born during this time will be the first human beings on this planet to embody this new wave of generational energy.
To see which Pluto generation you belong to, you look at what sign it was in when you were born. Below are the rough dates, but bear in mind, due to Pluto's retrograde there will be periods within those time frames where Pluto travels back into the previous sign.
Pluto in Capricorn if born between 2008 - 2023
Pluto in Sagittarius if born between 1995 - 2008
Pluto in Scorpio if born between 1983 - 1995
Pluto in Libra if born between 1971 - 1984
Pluto in Virgo if born between 1957 - 1972
Pluto in Leo if born between 1914 – 1939
However, as I have predicted in my book ‘Mastering Your Crown’ and as I have shared previously, we are not done with Pluto in Capricorn yet. Pluto will make some incredibly powerful and intense retrogrades over the critical 29th degree of Capricorn over the next year but by the end of November 2024 Pluto will have moved into Aquarius forever… well at least in our lifetimes.
Sparkly love Emma
